Mars And Neptune Conjunct In Pisces: A Conversation

(SCENE: The Sign of Pisces. MARS approaches NEPTUNE)

MARS: Hey, good to see you again buddy! How long has it been?

NEPTUNE: December 2018, as I recall.

MARS: Right! What was happening back then?

NEPTUNE: Protests in Paris that got some people killed and a measles outbreak, among other things.

MARS: Ah yes… (sarcastically) how things have changed.

NEPTUNE: In all seriousness, though: things can get a little weird when we get together.

MARS: I noticed that. It’s like you diffuse all my energy and then no one knows how to use it properly. Sometimes.

NEPTUNE: Or rather, I lend sensitivity to your initiatives and blunt the worst of your tendencies. Sometimes.

MARS: Whatever. Anyway, you notice how messy things have gotten on Earth?

NEPTUNE: Always. This time around, it’s just the kind of messy that gets more attention on the news. At least, in most places.

MARS: Lucky us, having Saturn and Pluto to take most of the blame for the bad crap that happens!

(BOTH laugh)

NEPTUNE: In all seriousness, though… things seem to be coming to a head, and it’s going to be really interesting to see what comes of our conjunction in the next week or two. Will people use this energy to sruggle for a Higher Ideal?

MARS: Or to attack the wrong targets?

THE MOON (Shouting from Capricorn) Hey guys! I’ll be there right before the exact conjunction! Want me to bring popcorn…?

NEPTUNE: Great, thanks!

MARS: Yeah, our conjunction is going to make for some craziness, on a planet already know for craziness. Hard to say how it’s going to turn out. For good? For ill?

NEPTUNE: Of course, that’s not really up to us, is it?

(MARS and NEPTUNE both turn to look thoughtfully at EARTH)

MARS: As always, my friend. As always.
