Venus Square Saturn, And Your Unbreaking

Beginning now and over the course of the next two weeks, Venus in Scorpio will be in a square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius. If I was just writing a weekly horoscope, I’d be saying something about how this aspect will make it difficult for relationships to get off the ground or to function smoothly.

That may be true, but sometimes that approach has a bit too much of a “fortune teller” feeling to me. This aspect can be useful, especially if you yourself suffered harm at the hands of a loved one, or have been betrayed by someone you should have been able to trust?

How can such a “bad” aspect be useful, especially to someone who’s experienced something like that? The next couple of weeks may bring unpleasant feelings and memories to the forefront. You may be revisited by the emotional ghosts that left behind.

But this doesn’t have to be a haunting. It can be an exorcism.

I don’t know of anyone who has had a perfect record with their love lives — but I admit that some people seem to have a much easier go what with it then. Everyone has my sympathy, but today I’m addressing those we’ve been particularly ripped off in the love-life department.

The next two weeks are going to represent an opportunity for you to feel your way through what was done to you, but still be able to address it from someone who is no longer inside that situation the same way you once were. It is a chance to address the damage that was done to you , and to overcome it.

Maybe whatever happened was so bad that you feel you may never love someone again. That of course is your choice. But I would kindly suggest that even if it isn’t your intention to get involved again, ever — why not overcome the harm done to you by someone else anyway?

This could be an incredibly constructive time for you to undo the damage that you were handed. And no matter what you do with your life from now on? You deserve better than to have to carry that with you.

Find your strength and use it to stand up for yourself — and don’t let the bastards get you down.
