Aquarius, And The Power Of Teamwork!

When you start learning astrology, one of the first things you learn is the nature of any given Sign. Aries likes to be active, Taurus enjoys snacks, and so on. And when you get to Aquarius, you will read a lot about things like cooperating towards common goals, joining forces with others, and teamwork. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Recent events have illustrated this point — but not necessarily in the holding hands and singing “Kumbaya” sense we’d like to see.

Last Friday there was a Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio, and it was square Jupiter in Aquarius. Since then Mars has completed the square to Saturn and an opposition to Uranus. How has all that Fixed Sign energy panned out so far?

In California, it has resulted in a number of sudden and dramatic organized robberies. Last Saturday, a mob of about 80 suspects acted in unison to rob a Nordstrom department store just east of San Francisco. They fled in at least 10 different vehicles with a lot of loot, and this was all apparently well organized. On the day of the Eclipse, similar large and well-organized robberies happened at Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Bloomingdale’s, a Walgreen’s and some cannabis dispensaries.

It’s not just happening in California either. Fourteen organized robbers barged into a Louis Vuitton in suburban Chicago, making away with over $100,000 in handbags and other merchandise. On Wednesday in Los Angeles, a group of at least five people to the Nordstrom in Topanga Mall and stole a lot of very expensive accessories.

So is this the new version of “flash mobs,” or just a glitch, or a temporary trend, or purely coincidence? At this point, it’s hard to say. But I’m beginning to think that we may be seeing more of this in the future. In some ways it seems to me that this is a manifestation of Saturn square Uranus. Or it may be a sign that the economy sucks and people are tired of having unachievable wealth shoved in their faces.

Or, you know… it could just be The Spirit Of Aquarius.
