Saturn IC Line in Astrology

If you’ve ever sought a place to be in solitude, Saturn on the IC line is the place to go. Here, you’ll be able to keep to yourself. You can become unnoticed here. Often, it’s a perfect place for solitude and solitary meditation making it a great place for self-mastery. On this line, if you have any past upsets, you can come to terms with them here and be able to draw up plans to reconstruct your life, or construct a brand new life. Though you won’t be able to launch from here, it is good for clear thinking. Family matters here are dull, unless you absolutely enjoy repeated family traditions, being a caretaker, or taking on their responsibilities. In that light, it can be a good place to stay on a strict schedule for raising children or take care of the elderly. This is not a good place to retire, for the isolation will not attract help. Making friends is almost impossible on this line and may take years until you become accepted in the community. Gardening here isn’t so great, often yielding smaller or weak plants, but the value of property or real estate will gradually increase and you’ll have a higher likelihood of finding minerals or precious materials under your property. 

East of the line places Saturn in the candent third house and can be easier for isolated projects such as writing a book or in pursuit of centering oneself.

West of the line places Saturn in the angular fourth house and will emphasize isolation, scheduling, routine, ritual, and traditions.
