Saturn Midheaven Line in Astrology

If you’re a big fan of merit, solid accumulation of knowledge, or self-reliance with business matters, Saturn on the Midheaven line is a great place. Saturn lines are generally good for work matters, but under the Midheaven, success usually comes after great dedication. Duty and unrelenting effort is in your favor. Small success comes in the immediate, often with finding secure employment. Bigger success comes in the very far long run, sometimes it may take as long as a whole Saturn return. A great example of that is the college graduate who starts off as an entry level job and through the Saturn transit arrives at the top during the return as one of the chiefs of a large corporation, or in a high governmental position. Saturn tends to like to work alone though, so being an employee will present some struggles along the way when you find you know more than your supervisor or authority. The greatest danger here is overextension of ambition. Energy should be devoted to understanding your own limitations and self-reflection to avoid becoming a hated despot when your turn to rule comes. Working under your own orders, such as in a business, you’ll find success albeit in a very slow but steady manner. With business, this often is a great place to leave you as the last-man-standing in your field.

East of the line puts Saturn in the cadent ninth house, best for highly-disciplined endeavors and higher education, long paths of learning.

West of the line puts Saturn in the angular tenth house, is best for professional endeavors, especially with government careers or hierarchal career paths.
