This week’s Saturn-Pluto news reminds me a little of an old joke…
A guy goes to see his doctor. The doctor tells him to sit down, then announces the man’s test results. “I have terrible news for you,” the doctor says. “You’ve only got two months to live.”
“Oh my God,” the man says, “two months? I won’t even be able to pay off your bill in that time!”
“Well okay then,” the doctor says, “I’ll give you a little more time.”

Saturn and Pluto are both retrograde right now, and there’s a little more space between them now than in previous weeks. For many, this means you’ll be feeling a slight relief in the pressure. However this is also the week when Saturn makes the exact conjunction to the South Node. The South Node of the Moon represents old, past karma that you may be dragging around with you. That can take the form of a family member, a long-standing friendship or relationship, or even a long-standing attitude of yours. It’s possible these issues may be flare up this week, and you may need to make some cuts.
Perhaps most importantly though, this week will give you an opportunity to think about the things that you want to change in your life, and how you intend to go about making those changes. I’m asking you all to start that process now, because next week will be a Solar Eclipse in Cancer. That’s a powerful time for laying the groundwork for change in your life.
Here’s when the Moon will be helping (or not):
On Wednesday morning and afternoon (Eastern Time) the Moon in Aries will be square Saturn and Pluto and the Nodes. Watch your mood closely, and be prepared to duck and cover if someone blows up around you.
On Friday afternoon and evening, the Moon will be trine Saturn and Pluto and The Nodes. Moon in Taurus is a pretty strong and stable placement. Relax. You’ve earned it.
