The Moon In Aries Question

Fundamentally one of the most important placements in astrology is the Moon Sign. In your birth chart, it indicates your basic emotional responses to life. By transit, it reflects the overall mood happening at any given time.

Although how you may experience the Moon in any given Sign will depend on both the aspects that it makes to other planets, and makes to the placements in your birth chart, the Moon in any Sign always lends some sort of basic stamp of its nature to any day.

Think of the Moon’s placement as asking a fundamental question of us as far as to how we react to the day’s events.

Today the Moon is in Aries, so here is the Moon in Aries question:

Have you ever taken an unnecessary risk, without any obvious chance for personal gain, simply because “it had to be done”?

MY ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION:

It was the mid-90s and I was working in downtown Calgary. One afternoon I was standing on the commuter train platform waiting to head home when a couple of skinheads approached an elderly Sikh man near me.

They were talking to each other loudly enough that they made sure he could hear them. It was all the usual racist crap you might expect from a couple of guys in their 20s who like to pretend the being Caucasian makes them inherently better than everyone else.

I think you should know that I am not a violent human being. Even when I do feel like punching someone. So I thought about things for a few seconds and then spoke to them.

My volume wasn’t much over my usual speaking voice but I was loud enough to make sure the people around me on the platform could hear me,

I do in fact recall some of the words I used on them but I will not repeat them here. Suffice to say I was calm, rational, and observant. In fact, I believe a form of clairvoyance kicked in, which made me able to say some very specific and very personal things to them.

That’s the thing with words. Punch someone in the face and they might have a black eye for a few days. Unleash the right words on the mo? It’ll be like having chopped-up watch springs dragging through their intestines for decades.

The overall psychological effect on them was somewhat comparable happened to the Nazis at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark when they actually opened up the Ark of the Covenant. They slumped away.

The old Sikh man just smiled and nodded… and I got a polite round of applause from the others there.

WHAT IS YOUR ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION?
