What does this mean?
How this transit might manifest.
This transit, which happens about once every twelve years, can be a highly momentous time for you. Jupiter can bring you the good fortune and good circumstances that you need to overcome your limitations and re-form your life on a better and more solid foundation. If everything is going smoothly for you that way, you may still find that you want to make some significant changes in your life. Jupiter has a reputation for being sort of “Santa Claus,” when it comes to bringing good fortune This can sometimes be the case, but Saturn will always make you do the work in order for you to get the potential reward. One way or another, there is a strong need to build something bigger and better for yourself, and now you have the opportunity and the tools to do that.
If Saturn is the ruler of the First House:
Saturn is a powerful influence on how others perceive you. There is a chance you may be too hard on yourself, and/or that people will find you more judgmental than you're actually being. Ironically, this can keep you from asserting yourself enough in some situations. It can also lead you to be more doubtful of your actions than you should be. This placement can also give you nice bone structure.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Second House:
You may often feel like you have a hard time making money, or that you don't have enough money, or that you need to keep working for it anyway... even when you really don't. Unless other factors in your chart indicate otherwise, you are unlikely to be drawn to gambling or high-risk investments. This placement may also do some harm to your self-esteem. Try not to be too hard on yourself.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Third House:
People may think you speak too little or are too serious-minded. You may find that you have to structure your words and thoughts carefully in order to make your point or to learn. One of your siblings may have been (or may now be) a bit of a burden. If you are learning something new, you will respond best in an environment where the goals and techniques are as clear-cut and straightforward as possible.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Fourth House:
You may have had issues regarding the strictures and/or limitations of your early family life, especially when it comes to one of your parents. As a possible result, your parenting style maybe a little too rigid or dogmatic. You thrive when your home environment is structured, orderly, and lacking in clutter. Ultimately though, you are probably a very supportive and loyal friend and partner.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Fifth House:
You may find you have a hard time with "cutting loose" or being spontaneous. This may be a matter of "all work and no play make Jack a dull boy," or you may simply feel on some level that you don't deserve to have fun. Avoid that kind of thinking: it makes you inefficient in the long run. You could make for a serious and responsible parent... which is great, but remember the value of play (for both your child and yourself).
If Saturn is the ruler of the Sixth House:
This placement should give you excellent organizational and clerical skills. Your work habits are probably excellent, but you may work yourself too hard, or focus too much on the process rather than the goal. On the one hand, you may find yourself dealing with some chronic health issues (especially matters involving teeth, bones, and joints). On the other hand, you may simply worry too much about things going wrong with your health.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Seventh House:
In many ways, this has the potential for excellent results in relationships and partnerships. Saturn does not hand out gifts freely, but you have a natural understanding of the work one has to do to make a relationship function. In fact, this may be too much of a gift if you assume that a bad relationship can be "fixed" if you just put in all the work yourself. Ultimately though, if you have chosen the right person, it will pay off.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Eighth House:
You may find that you are resistant to change, and would rather stand your ground than move out of the way when required. There may also be some issues with the free expression of your sexual energy -- but this can be addressed and overcome in time. Credit. mortgages, and debt may at times be burdensome... or you may also be just afraid to ask for help when it is needed.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Ninth House:
You may often find that you are a skeptic of traditional spirituality, organized religion, or even of your own beliefs. Thi placement will tend to give you a serious-minded and Stoic view of the world. Being open to new and/or radical ideas may not come easily to you -- be careful not to be too dismissive of them too quickly. You would definitely benefit from some form of Higher Education but may have issues getting it.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Tenth House:
You are a natural-born boss, but may need to guard against being too demanding with your subordinates... or against stepping out of line with superiors because "you know better." Don't worry: the right people will notice your abilities in time. You handle responsibility very well but should be cautious of taking too much on. Try to keep in mind that "material success" isn't the only important thing in life.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Eleventh House:
You may feel the urge to socialize and to be connected to others, but have a hard time doing so. Alternately, you may just prefer to be left alone, sometimes at the risk of becoming a sort of hermit. You could suffer from a (literal or figurative) form of "stage fright" in social settings or even crowds. The good news is that if you learn to overcome this, you could be a natural leader when it comes to organizing groups.
If Saturn is the ruler of the Twelfth House:
You may face a lot of fear when facing the unknown. Your early life may have conditioned you for rejection, and isolating yourself might be your defensive reaction. You also may have a tendency to escape life by "building castles in the sky." That can be fun and even therapeutic at times... but you can't live in them. Shyness and anxiety may be a problem for you, but if you do the work you can overcome that.
