Mercury Descendant Line in Astrology

In locations with Mercury setting on the horizon, you will succeed in jobs, partnerships, and relationships where you can promote yourself, pitch your ideas, and sell your products or services with ease. 

This is also a great line if you are interested in relationships, but not so interested in commitments – relationships according to your call. If you’re already in a committed relationship, you find more independence and free time here, friendship within the relationship grows. This line isn’t known for passion, romance, or intensity, but you’ll enjoy and embrace the ability to focus on your personal hobbies.

This line is a great place for being the intermediary between generations. You’ll be able to translate modern colloquialisms, trends, and ideas and facilitate connections between the younger and the older people around you. Languages will be easy for you to pick up quicker. Your mind will be stimulated, and likely grow, especially when dealing with younger folks around you.

Recreation is highly enjoyed here, especially where you have to use both your mind and body for quick strategy. You’ll find plenty of enjoyment in group activities, especially teams. Your analytical skills with others can excel, and getting straight to the point reigns here with you.

There is the potential to be the center of gossip without invitation or welcome, but you’ll find joy in knowing many of them can’t stick. Your personal news gets out faster and easier – the kind of place that if you sneeze, everyone in the neighborhood knows within the minute. You’ll talk faster, get things done easier, and find partners, friends, and willing volunteers who help you with your never-ending to-do list. At work, you thrive at being the “go-to” person for legal information related to the job and work policies. 

East of the line puts Mercury in the candent sixth house. It is excellent for day-to-day chores, multi-tasking, health, and energy. It is not good for sleeping!  

West of the line puts Mercury in the angular seventh house and it’s better for partnerships, especially business partnerships and non-romantic partnerships.
