Astrology Of The Mandalorian And Baby Yoda (Really!)
As I have written here before, the entertainment industry has taken a serious beating overall in 2020. There have been bright spots, however. Television streaming service Disney+ has been a big success, even in a market already saturated with streaming services. And without question, the breakaway hit on Disney+ is The Mandalorian.
Being a hit is one thing, but becoming a cultural icon is another. The Mandalorian is a hit, but the character known as Baby Yoda has become a genuine phenomenon. The astrology reflects this in remarkable ways.
Disney+ went on air with its entire catalog of programming available, on November 12th 2019 shortly after midnight Pacific time. A lot of customers stayed up late that night to catch the premiere — and they were there to watch The Mandalorian, not Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
The show premiered with a strong birth chart, even if it was one most astrologers wouldn’t have picked. Mercury was retrograde, and sure enough there were some technical issues. But with a strongly aspected Sun ruling the Ascendant in Leo, and a strongly aspected 10th House Moon and Midheaven in Taurus, it was overall a success. But what of the particular success of the breakout character, Baby Yoda? Yes, surprisingly, it can. You see, the premiere episode of The Mandalorian was 39 minutes long including credits. Baby Yoda only appears in the last couple of minutes.
What was the big difference between the charts at 12:01 AM and 12:36 AM? Both charts have a strongly aspected Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. but in the time that first episode started until baby Yoda made his first appearance, both the Ascendant and the Midheaven change Signs. The ascendant moved from Leo into Virgo, and the Midheaven moved from Taurus into Gemini.
And what do those two Signs have in common? They are both ruled by Mercury… which is also the natural ruler of children in astrology.
So there you have it: the astrology both confirms that The Mandalorian was going to be a success, but even more loudly proclaims the marketability of Baby Yoda. And even if you’re already heavily into astrology, that’s a bit remarkable, isn’t it?
