Full Moon In Pisces: Now With Extra Werewolf!

I don’t normally get bent out of shape worrying about a Full Moon — but I’m going to make a bit of an exception for this next one. The Full Moon in Pisces for 2019 (which is exact at 12:32 AM Saturday, Eastern Time, but strongly affects the day/evening beforehand and the day after) is more loaded for drama than the usual Full Moon.

This Full Moon takes place opposite the Sun and Mars in Virgo, square Jupiter in Sagittarius, and conjunct Neptune. The Jupiter-Neptune square has been in effect for months now, spreading delusion and confusion everywhere. If you have any major placements between about 12 and 21 degrees of the Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces), you’ve been feeling the effects of the Jupiter-Neptune square. Some part of your life has likely been squeezed and stretched like a badly-tuned accordion. If so, expect things to come to a peak: adding a Mars square and a Full Moon to an aspect pattern like this makes for potential breakthroughs… and possibly meltdowns.

On the other hand, this Full Moon is making a helpful sextile to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction. This may serve as a temporary balm to some longstanding issues you’ve had.

Mostly though: be cautious with the people around you. It’s a weekend, and people are usually a little less well-behaved than usual on a Saturday. And in my experience, even a regular Full Moon in Pisces is one of the wackiest ones of the year, even without any help from Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune.

Also: even if you yourself don’t have any major placements between about 12 and 21 degrees of the Mutable Signs, someone near your or in your environment this weekend is likely to be affected somehow. So, get out there and have fun this weekend… just make sure you take spare silver bullets and wolfsbane with you…
