Previously here, I did my best to convince you that Mars in Scorpio is nothing to be afraid of. In fact, overall, I think it’s going to be pretty constructive. Nothing is perfect of course, and there will be a few glitches along the way, but for the most part the aspects that Mars will be making in Scorpio between now and January 3rd will tend to be more helpful than not.

Here’s a listing of the major aspects Mars will be making during that time. Please keep in mind that although I will be listing each aspect by its exact date, that aspect will be in effect for roughly a week before and after that date.

On November 21st, Mars will be quincunx Chiron in Aries. That’s not a very terribly comfortable aspect. It can make for weird, unexpected, or unintended injury to your feelings, or those of others. Try to be patient, and try not to be triggering.

November 24th is when Mars opposite Uranus peaks. This is probably the single most difficult aspect that Mars will be making for the rest of this year. There will be a great deal of impatience and bullheadedness going around. Be careful with your temper.

On December 3rd, Mars will be sextile Venus in Capricorn. Any Venus-Mars sextile is usually a good time to get out and socialize. It’s also an excellent time for getting some extra mileage out of your sex drive. Venus in Capricorn sextile Mars in Scorpio specifically has a sort of sexy librarian vibe going for it. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

December 13th brings the peak of Mars trine Neptune. In some ways, this will have a similar effect to Venus sextile Mars as far as socializing goes, but this is also an excellent opportunity to make with your spiritual life. Don’t be afraid to dream a little bigger than usual.

And now here’s where things get interesting…

On December 19th, Mars sextile Saturn is exact, and on the 22nd Mars sextile Pluto is exact. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction has been great news for some people and terrible news for others. Regardless of what this conjunction has been doing to you, though? This will be an opportunity to either exploit that Saturn-Pluto energy, or at least make some breakthroughs as far as understanding and managing the various problems Saturn and Pluto may have been making for you.

Finally, on January 3rd 2020, Mars will enter Sagittarius. That’s not necessarily a bad placement, but let’s be honest here that’s not what’s going to grab the headlines this January. That’s when the Saturn-Pluto conjunction is going to be exact. Ouch!
