The Moon In Aquarius Question

Fundamentally one of the most important placements in astrology is the Moon Sign. In your birth chart, it indicates your basic emotional responses to life. By transit, it reflects the overall mood happening at any given time.

Although how you may experience the Moon in any given Sign will depend on both the aspects that it makes to other planets, and makes to the placements in your birth chart, the Moon in any Sign always lends some sort of basic stamp of its nature to any day.

Think of the Moon’s placement as asking a fundamental question of us as far as how we react to the day’s events.

Today the Moon is in Aquarius, so here is the Moon in Aquarius question:

Have you ever been part of a larger movement, group, or organization that made both your life and those of others better, happier places?

My answer to that question:

Yes. For a number of years, I volunteered on the organizing committee of my city’s largest science fiction and fantasy conventions. This was before the days of huge, overhyped, and expensive “Comic Cons” with reams of celebrity guests. We were lucky to get anyone who had been on TV, or was in TV production. But I had a great time, meeting a lot of really great authors (including George R. R. Martin, before Game of Thrones, even!). It was a lot of work for no financial reward, but I loved it, and the people attending it loved it too.

I also learned a lot of useful things, like how to apply for an arts grant, how hotel contracts work, and how to keep three streams of different programming up and running all at once. That, and: I learned it’s damn near impossible for even a relatively small group of people to keep a big thing secret for long.
