If you’ve been playing along at home with this series, you’ve probably gotten used to the idea that any planets transiting opposite Saturn and Pluto is bad news. But what are we supposed to make of it when that planet is Venus? Surely little ol’ Venus wouldn’t hurt a fly, even unintentionally, right? But that’s exactly the situation we face during the early part of this week as Venus in Cancer pulls away from the opposition to Pluto. Expect your longings for sweetness — literal or figurative — to be particularly deep.

Throughout the week, Mars in Leo will be trine Jupiter. That may not be directly connected to the Saturn-Pluto situation we’re facing now, but it is bound to provide plenty of good energy that can help you bust through any difficulties you are facing. Use it wisely.

Finally, Mercury is still retrograde. That’s problematic enough, but by the second half of the week it will be opposite Pluto. Let’s be extra-careful with our words and our e-mails, people!

Here’s when the Moon will be helping (or not):

On Tuesday, the Sun is in Leo. That’s great! And on Tuesday for most of the day (Eastern Time), the Moon is in Aries… which wouldn’t be so bad if it were squaring Saturn, Pluto, and the Nodes. Whatever is cooking in your life right now, try not to spice it up with some extra moodiness.

Prepare for some restlessness late Wednesday/early Thursday as the Moon in early Taurus (which is usually a pretty restful placement) is conjunct Uranus. That combination isn’t a very comfortable one. Later in the evening Thursday, the Moon begins the trine to Saturn and Pluto, completing it by mid-day. That could be an incredibly constructive energy.
