The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is ramping up this week! Saturn is direct and closing the gap between those two planets. Pluto turns direct on Thursday, but having both those planets moving forward won’t help as much as you’d like. Saturn is, overall, much faster than Pluto, and Pluto won’t be able to outrun it. Having Pluto grind to a halt and go forward at 20 degrees will, in fact, make for an extra bucket full of stress for many of us this week.

The first part of the week begins with some serious longings. Venus in Libra begins the week square Pluto. Prepare for some frustrations around matters of romance, finance, and your ability to stick to a diet. At least Venus is still sextile Jupiter: that should take a bit of the edge off.

Towards the end of the week, Sun in Libra will be square Saturn and the Nodes. That will tend to make for a low-energy mood — and may make for trouble between you and the people you have “karmic connections” with.

Here’s when the Moon will be helping (or not):

Moon in Scorpio gets some bad press in some circles. Forget all that: through the middle of the day (Eastern time) on Tuesday supports Saturn and Pluto with a sextile aspect, and is trine Neptune. You probably can’t solve all your Saturn-Pluto issues with meditation, visualization, or prayer… but this Tuesday those things may get you a little more relief than usual.

Saturday afternoon and evening should be a time to blow off some steam, shouldn’t it? Maybe not this time around though: Moon in Capricorn will be spending most of the day approaching the conjunction to Saturn and the South Node… which is not likely to be a lot of fun. By Sunday afternoon the Moon is conjunct Pluto, then squares Venus and goes Void of Course for the evening. It may not sound like a huge amount of fun, but a weekend of “Netflix and chill”… by yourself… might be the safest policy.
