Venus Descendant Line in Astrology

This line is a little bit of a paradox. On one hand, it’s great for marriage, partnership of all kinds, and connections with women. On the other hand, it can attract lazy (albeit very attractive) types into your life. 

Here, you become skilled and effective in all forms of human interaction. You are easily able to be gracious, charming, and social with people. Harmony and cooperation are projected outward, and that in return allows others to easily see the quality of a connection with you as high value. Your own beauty is projected onto others and you and your partner will take pride in each other’s attractiveness. You’re more inclined to keep yourself attractive, or perhaps enhance your looks. All of life’s pleasures tend to get involved in others, but you are loved for the effect you have on people. If you are content to live for others, the harmony you’ll feel here is unmatched anywhere else. 

Watch your weight on this line, for there is a tendency in social gatherings to overindulge and not notice.

East of the line puts Venus in the cadent sixth house.

West of the line puts Venus in the angular seventh house, which will attract females and feminine types as partners.
