• Usable on ANY device or operating system: Mac or PC. iPhone or Android. iPad or tablet. If you have an internet connection, you can access Meteor™ seamlessly and simultaneously across all your devices. Save charts on your desktop and access from your phone and vice versa.
• Web-based app: This software can work on your browser (Chrome recommended since it’s a Google powered product), but if installed on your device, it can also work as a web-based app.
• Zoom and panning: no other AstroMapping software in the market has the amount of zoom you can get in Meteor™. Zoom in as close as you want for a bird’s eye view or on the ground using “Street View” with 360 degree imagery to help you know where to go and what to expect when traveling. Explore world-famous landmarks, galleries, and museums right from your device, or turn the clock back with Street View historical imagery to see how a location has changed over time.
• 3D Planetarium – Even if you don’t have AstroCloud Plus, Meteor allows access to the 3D Planetarium feature for any Meteor AstroCartoGraphy enhanced calculation. It’s viewable in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality when wearing goggles.

Meteor™ Solar Eclipse Maps has the most advanced calculations on the market. Features include:

• Animated Eclipse Shadows (Umbra and Penumbra): view the central path, boundaries, and move the timing slider so you’re in control.
• Places search – a helpful tool to determine precise center-path locations.
• Local circumstance calculations (Greatest Eclipse Relocated, Partial Start and End Times, Totality Start and End Times and Maximum Eclipse). This is perfect for timing your eclipse experience.
