Astrology And The Rise Of Skywalker, Part Four: Who’s Going To Be Blamed?
(Every journey has a beginning. CLICK HERE for it. CLICK HERE for the “birth chart” of Star Wars itself, and CLICK HERE for why I’m so concerned about the upcoming film in the series)
So: if I’m right and there’s something seriously at issue with the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, that should show in someone’s transits, right? Let’s have a look at three charts that might (potentially) suffer.
First of all, I won’t be looking into much detail at the birth chart of director J.J. Abrams. He was born June 27th 1966, time unknown, New York City. Without his time of birth his transits look, frankly, surprisingly bland. There’s not a great deal of cause for either celebration or regret here — so sure signs of either a huge hit or a big failure. Make of that what you will.
Secondly, there are potentially a lot of charts one could use for Disney, but here I am using the IPO chart. The initial public offering of Disney stock happened April 2nd 1940 at 9:30 a.m. in Los Angeles California. transiting Saturn and Pluto are square Disney’s Jupiter and Nodes, which certainly doesn’t sound great. However the second house of Disney’s chart (money) is ruled by the Moon. That Moon is at 17 Aquarius and isn’t taking any particular hits at this time.
This does not necessarily undo the premise of my prediction. To be honest, Disney has lost more in pocket change in its couch than you or I will probably ever see as human beings in our lifetimes. I would note however that the Pluto square will be particularly strong in the spring, when Disney releases its quarterly report for the last quarter of 2019. Shareholders, take note.
Finally: we look at the birth chart of Kathleen Kennedy, the Disney executive in charge of the Star Wars franchise.
Her transits look like trouble to me. Kennedy was born June 5th 1953, 2:52 AM, Berkeley California. Her Midheaven (career direction) is at 8 degrees Capricorn. Saturn is therefore the general ruler of her 10th house. She has a close Saturn-Neptune conjunction in her birth chart at 20 to 21 degrees Libra, closely opposite her ascendant of 15 degrees Aries. transiting Saturn and Pluto are squaring those points right now and it’s hard to imagine that this is good for her career. So if Rise Of Skywalker under-performs she’s likely going to take the blame. But at the same time, transiting Jupiter will be conjunct her Midheaven. So: will it not be as bad as I’m thinking, or will there be some kind of “golden parachute” for her?
NEXT TIME: The end of an era. Well — of this series, anyway.
