MOOD ALERT: September 24-25, 2018

You don’t need to be an astrologer to know that a Full Moon can do things to a person’s mood — and often those things aren’t at all comfortable. You might not be surprised to know that a Full Moon in Aries (like the one that is now in effect) can be particularly edgy. But there are other circumstances at play now which make this Full Moon both particularly impactful and important…. if you take the High Road with yourself and with others instead of just letting your mood fly off.

In the 24 hours after this Full Moon is exact, the Moon in Aries will be making some very important aspects. It is happening conjunct Chiron, which is commonly referred to as “the wounded healer.” Being opposite the Sun and Mercury, the Moon will tend to make for bruised feelings and miscommunication. Complicating things further is a square to Saturn, which will generally make things mopey and unpleasant for many people. Just to top things off, a sextile to Mars in Aquarius (which is conjunct the South Node — your karmic past) will be making people more loud and outspoken about their emotions than usual.

Nonetheless, there is something hidden in this particular Full Moon that makes it more than just a temporary nuisance. The Moon’s sextile to the North Node suggest that there is a useful and important outlet for this energy. You see, there is probably some kind of long-standing karmic issue that needs to be addressed with you. Maybe it’s a relationship. Maybe it’s how you feel about yourself. Maybe it’s the way you’ve been leading your life, or how you feel about your past.

Make use of this energy now, while it lasts. Choose your target wisely, and don’t be afraid to face that Karma Beast, whatever it may be.
